The Opportunity
We are seeking a confident and experienced nurse leader to join our team as a Clinical Nurse at Brightwater Inglewood, residential aged care site.
This part‐time role offers 67.5 hours per fortnight, with the following roster:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm; Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Located within Brightwater Central — our vibrant community campus and home to the Brightwater Research Centre and head office — Brightwater Inglewood is surrounded by landscaped gardens, open parklands, and a nearby golf course. The site offers a warm, contemporary home for 128 residents across eight thoughtfully designed houses over two levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and oversee evidence‐based, individualised nursing care, ensuring resident safety, dignity and wellbeing
* Provide clinical leadership, education and problem‐solving support to nursing, care and allied health teams
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex clinical situations
* Support and contribute to care planning, assessment, evaluation and documentation
* Ensure compliance with legislation, professional standards, mandatory reporting and Brightwater policies
* Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives and act as a change agent onsite
* Support recruitment, onboarding, development and performance of staff
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and culturally safe environment for clients, families and staff
* Act as a role model, demonstrating Brightwater's values and fostering a safe workplace
About You
You are a capable and compassionate clinician with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to delivering high‐quality care. You bring a collaborative mindset, sound clinical judgement, and a passion for continuous improvement in aged care.
* Current Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrated experience in aged care and/or a complex clinical environmentStrong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance
* Proven ability to coach, mentor and support teams
* Excellent communication, documentation and time‐management skills
* A collaborative approach and commitment to person‐centred care
* A passion for enhancing the lives and independence of older people
