Gwydir Shire Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as a landfill Attendant.
This position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Bingara Landfill site.
Applicants must possess the ability to become efficient team players and be willing to participate in self‑improvement opportunities, workplace change and flexible working arrangements.
The position is based at the Bingara Landfill and there may be occasions when the successful candidate is required to work relief at other landfill sites throughout the Shire.
This is a permanent full-time position working a 9 day fortnight. The position is classified as Grade 2, Band 1, Level 2, Entry within Council's competency‑based salary system, with a commencing salary of $26.83 per hour, plus adverse working conditions allowance.
