The Merribee is looking for a fun and full of energy Guest Service Manager. This exciting role will be handle all aspects of the guest relations and ensure that all guests have an exceptional experience. This role is a full time role, and reporting directly to the General Manager.

What you'll be doing

* Lead and manage the guest services to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Oversee and manage weddings, ensuring they are delivered at a high standard, and couples leave with an amazing experience and review.
* Handle effective communications with couple along their journey, across check-in, wedding day, check out and follow up.
* Resolve any guest issues or complaints in a timely and effective way
* Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all guest-facing areas
* Review and follow policy for all couple documents including invoicing, payments and collections.
* Effectively manage general accommodation guests, delivering an amazing experience.
* Implement and oversee systems and procedures to streamline guest services operations
* Analyse guest feedback and data to identify areas for improvement
* Assist with staff rostering, training and development

What we're looking for

* Extensive experience (3+ years) in a similar guest services or front office role, ideally within the hospitality industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
* Proficient in using hotel management and booking systems
* Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of the local area and tourism attractions in Jervis Bay
