About the Role
The IT Support Specialist will work within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Team and be responsible for delivering first and second-level ICT support to staff, students, and other stakeholders within the college. This role operates within organisational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
The IT Support Specialist responds to daily technical issues, service requests, and manages hardware and software support tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of ICT services within the college and other local systemic schools.
They work with a level of independence in their daily activities but are supported by a Technical Support Lead, Senior Technical Support staff, and other CECG ICT Officers as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver first and second-level ICT support to staff, students, and other stakeholders
* Respond to daily technical issues and service requests
* Manage hardware and software support tasks
* Ensure the smooth operation of ICT services within the college and other local systemic schools
Qualifications and Skills
* Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations
* Driver's Licence
