Partnering closely with a major government department, they are responsible for architecting secure, scalable platforms that underpin nationally significant services.

About the Role
As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and governing cloud platforms across AWS and/or Azure. Working at the intersection of strategy and delivery, you will design landing zones, security guardrails and governance frameworks while providing architectural leadership to engineering teams responsible for implementation and operations.
The role requires someone who can engage confidently with senior stakeholders, translate policy and compliance requirements into practical architectures, and ensure platforms are robust, secure and scalable by design.
The Successful Candidate
* Extensive experience architecting complex AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms in enterprise environments
* Deep expertise across landing zones, identity integration, network segmentation and security guardrails
* Proven ability to define governance models, security baselines and architectural patterns
* Strong track record leading or influencing cloud transformation initiatives
* Experience working within government or highly regulated industries
* Relevant AWS and/or Azure architecture certifications
* Active AGSVA Baseline, NV1 or NV2 security clearance
