Employee Relations Specialist

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic and pragmatic advice to business leaders on complex employee relations and employment matters, including misconduct, grievances, whistleblowing, organizational change, and underperformance.
2. Conduct formal investigations into employee conduct, including bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
3. Interpret and advise on relevant enterprise agreements, awards, legislation, and workplace policies.
4. Respond to employment claims, prepare responses for unfair dismissals, protections, bullying, and discrimination cases, and represent the organization at conciliation processes.
5. Support the development of leadership capabilities through training and creating guidance materials on employee relations issues.
6. Contribute to internal projects requiring employee relations expertise.
Candidate Requirements
1. Relevant qualifications in employee relations, HR, or employment law.
2. Proven ER experience in a large corporate setting, preferably in finance or professional services.
3. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and achieve results.
4. Experience in providing pragmatic solutions to complex issues.
5. Experience working with organizations across multiple jurisdictions.
