About The Role Ready to elevate your finance career and make a real impact? We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner who goes beyond the numbers—someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement and financial modelling. As part of our high-performing Financial Planning and Reporting team, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making and shape services that benefit our community. What You’ll Do build strong, trusted relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across Council lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes with precision and insight deliver high-quality financial modelling to support business cases and strategic initiatives partner with operational teams to drive financial performance and accountability translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support a sustainable and liveable city We’re Looking For Someone With CPA, CA or equivalent tertiary qualifications extensive experience in business partnering across multiple stakeholders and departments advanced financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis and cost-benefit evaluation strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively a strategic mindset and a passion for using finance to enable better outcomes for the community This is more than a finance role—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our city through smart, data-driven decisions.
