Scoliosis Physiotherapy is a friendly team of professionals interested in complex spine conditions and helping those with structural scoliosis and other variations in alignment of the spine and ribcage. We are Australia's longest established physiotherapy practice dedicated exclusively to the management of scoliosis and other structural postural changes.

Appreciate that all our consultations are an hour long, leading to great treatment satisfaction (for both practitioner and client) and reduced consultation stressHave time to perform proper and detailed scoliosis specific assessments, that include scoliosis specific history taking, postural and x-ray assessments plus moreHave time to provide thorough education and treatments, predominantly utilizing the physiotherapy scoliosis specific exercises (PSSE)Communicate regularly with other members of the multi-disciplinary team (surgeons, orthotists, other allied health team members)Enjoy scheduled paid administration time each day for letter writing and phone calls (to ensure work time doesn't overflow into home time).Scoliosis Physiotherapy is a caring and fun team of practitioners passionate about helping those with structural scoliosis. We provide both physiotherapy and bracing services. Clients are of all ages, with a pretty much a 50/50 split between adolescents and adults. The main treatment approach we utilize is the internationally recognized Rigo Concept (Schroth-based BSPTS) method of scoliosis specific management. All our physiotherapists have this qualification, and Rebecca Harding is one of 30 International Teachers who will provide you this training and ongoing mentoring.
Our core practice is in Kew East with satellites in Geelong and Caulfield. We thrive on knowledge sharing with each other, our clients and as many other health practitioners as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!
Please note: this position is for a 26 May 2025 start - this is timed for you to join Rebecca's 6-day Level 1 Rigo Concept (PSSE) course in Melbourne, beginning on 26 May with employment to continue on the following week. Please reach out early if interested, so we are able to meet and discuss the position and training involved and also organize opportunity for you to come in and observe Rebecca treating clients. Please only apply if you have genuine interest in spinal conditions and have current private practice experience. We are happy to welcome the right person who is able to join us 2-4 days/week.
