Technical Sales Executive – East Coast, Australia

Based out of Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, this remote, field-based role reports to the WA head office.

The Technical Sales Executive will excel in selling highly specialised products and services, utilizing in-depth technology knowledge to generate opportunities, identify customer needs, present solutions, and close deals. They will build lasting relationships with clients by demonstrating product capabilities, providing technical expertise, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Target key strategic growth areas such as defence, utilities, and natural resources, and develop long‐term commercial relationships with major APAC players.
* Develop and maintain a pipeline of tactical sales opportunities leveraging Chironix unique offerings to achieve sales targets.
* Use a consultative sales approach to identify operational and commercial needs within a client's environment and propose solutions that deliver quantifiable business benefits.
* Develop and communicate a deep understanding of product features, benefits, technical specifications, and competitive differentiators.
* Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and technical explanations to showcase value proposition to prospective clients; attend conferences across the Asia‐Pacific region to generate leads and form partnerships.
* Maintain an active presence at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to stay current on market trends and network with potential customers.
* Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to support in‐flight deliveries and provide timely information and pre‐sales technical support to clients.
* Deliver effective sales pitches and demonstrations, mapping Chironix capabilities to client needs and showcasing best‐in‐class solutions.
* Build strong relationships with Chironix suppliers and partners, developing partnership roadmaps that leverage existing and emerging technologies, products, and services.
* Provide clear and accurate reporting on the sales pipeline, financial opportunities, and successes.

Key Skills

* Strong understanding of the technical aspects of products or services sold, including industry standards and applications.
* Proven track record in lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing.
* Excellent verbal and written communication for presenting complex technical information.
* Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
* Skill in solving complex technical challenges and applying solutions to demonstrate value to clients.
* Analysing market data, competitor activity, and sales trends to implement effective strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

* A significant track record in technical sales and customer relationship management.
* Experience across diverse client sectors including defence, utilities, and natural resources is advantageous.
* A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is beneficial.
