About This Role
We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic Theatre Suite team. You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager and Associate Director of Nursing, in overseeing daily operations of the theatre suite, supporting clinical excellence, managing resources and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
* In collaboration with the Clinical Manager, identifies the training needs of staff and participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of education programs for all theatre suite staff
* Assists with the formulation and review of theatre suite nursing policies and procedures
* Successfully completes an annual mandatory education program, which includes among other topics, medication safety, basic life support, emergency procedures training and manual handling update
* Support and promote the culture of continuous improvement within the hospital
* Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and teamwork within the theatre suite and hospital
* Work closely with the Clinical Manager and Assistant Director of Nursing in maintaining high standards of care and improve patient outcomes
About You
* Registered Nurse (Level 2) with current AHPRA registration
* At least 3 years of experience in a theatre nursing role
* High level of expertise in operating theatre nursing practices, with a solid understanding of infection control and safety standards
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask effectively and manage priorities
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work as part of a team while managing individual tasks and responsibilities
