We are seeking a passionate and experienced Independent Living Manager to mentor our vibrant teams in the Central Coast & Lake Macquarie region, shape the future and strengthen our supported independent living (SIL) leadership group.

We are looking for a manager who is prepared to walk alongside the support workers that they look after.
About the Role
As the Independent Living Manager, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across our supported independent living programs. You will mentor a dynamic team, foster a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning, and be instrumental in creating pathways to growth, meaningful engagement, and greater independence for the people we support.
As a key member of the leadership team, you'll champion person-centred practice, build trusted relationships with participants and their families, and ensure service delivery meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the delivery of person-centred supports in both community and home-based settings
Mentor, develop, and inspire staff to achieve excellence
Drive service quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
Build strong, respectful relationships with participants, families, and key stakeholders
Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory frameworks
Oversee rosters, workforce planning, and resource allocation to meet participant needs
Manage incidents and reporting processes in line with policy and legislative requirements
Promote Brighter Access services, support participant transitions, and drive business development initiatives
Lead and contribute to key projects that enhance service outcomes
About You
We're looking for a values-driven leader with front line management skills with
* Experience in disability or community services, particularly within SIL and/or community access
* Experience in managing teams
* Committed to empowering individuals and creating inclusive environments
* Knowledge of NDIS frameworks, compliance, and best practice approaches
* A strong communicator and problem-solver with a collaborative mindset
* Passionate about people, purpose, and building stronger communities
* NDIS & Working with Children check clearance, Drivers licence
