Mine Site Vehicle Mechanics Jet Maintenance Services Mackay & Coalfields Trades & Services – Automotive Trades Full time Are you an experienced Vehicle Mechanic looking for a diverse role working on a variety of vehicles and equipment? Our client, Jet Maintenance Services, are currently recruiting.
As an expert labour supplier to the Mining Industry, Jet Maintenance are Mechanical & Auto Electrical experts who specialize in providing skilled personnel for a range of mining roles on sites throughout the Bowen and Galilee Basin. Jet Maintenance also boast a highly accomplished team of automotive and mining experts, based at our successful Mackay workshop, in Paget, alongside a team of end to end mining engineering, design, fabrication and install experts as part of Jet Group Australia. CANDIDATES
We are seeking Trade Qualified Vehicle Mechanics to provide mine site mechanical coverage, as well as working out our Mackay Workshop as required. This full time, permanent positions offers the initial opportunity of 2 months mine site light vehicle mechanical coverage on a 7:7 roster, where you will be able to develop and expand mechanical experience working on a diverse fleet of light and medium mine site vehicles, alongside a huge array of fixed and mobile plant. In this role you will be an integral part of the trade qualified team of mechanical professionals, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of fleet vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Following this initial period you will work out of the Paget Mechanical and Auto Electrical Workshop, as well as being available to provide roster coverage and additional labour support to our mine site vehicle and field maintenance service teams. To be successful you MUST BE a Trade Qualified Mechanic and preferably HAVE a current Coal Board Medical Standard 11. REQUIREMENTS
* Trade Qualified Vehicle Mechanic/Technician/Fitter
* Minimum 3 years post trade experience with Vehicle repair and maintenance
* Valid Manual Driver’s License
* Current Coal Board Medical (preferred)
* Current Standard 11(desirable)
* Air Conditioning ARC Refrigerant Handling License Ticket
* Brake Testing Ticket (preferred)
* Mine Site experience (desirable)
* Light, Medium & Heavy Vehicle experience (advantageous)
