Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator based in Dandenong South, VIC. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and providing pricing proposals for electrical products and services. The role involves analyzing tender documents, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and assisting in project planning. Maintaining detailed records of estimates and ensuring compliance with industry standards are key responsibilities.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and components, including circuit breakers, switchboards, and motor control equipment
* Experience in cost estimation, tender preparation, and project pricing within the electrical or manufacturing industry
* Proficiency in relevant computer software, including estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships and collaborating with teams
* Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates and documentation
* Bachelor's degree or a trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline is preferred
* Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety regulations is advantageous
