Job Overview
Safeguarding information systems and protecting sensitive data is a critical responsibility. As a cyber security specialist, you will play a vital role in preventing threats, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining the highest level of security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain robust security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational information assets.
* Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement controls to mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with IT Security Manager and Cyber Security Specialist to maintain and improve security posture in line with strategic plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in cyber security or information technology or related field.
* 5+ years' experience as an IT Systems & Security Administrator, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Strong understanding of computer hardware, network devices, and protocols, including Australian Information Security Manual (ISM), Defense Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Security Clearance: Eligibility for SECRET (NV1) level defense security clearance is mandatory. Possession of a current SECRET (NV1) clearance is highly desirable.
