Overview
This is not just a job — it's a coastal lifestyle move, with free accommodation and the chance to lead in a supportive, growing hospitality group. Set on Tasmania’s East Coast, this iconic venue is part of a larger group of 20+ venues and has recently undergone a full kitchen refurbishment. The venue includes a tavern, separate breakfast kitchen, and a dedicated function space. The service is structured, energetic, and calm — supported by a Hobart-based production kitchen that supplies core components, allowing your focus to stay on service, consistency, and team culture.
This could be a fantastic step up for a senior Sous Chef who’s ready to lead and take the next leap in their career. If you’re hands-on, steady under pressure, and thrive in a team-driven kitchen — we want to hear from you.
This is a relocation role, and sponsorship is available for the right candidate. Free onsite accommodation (with coastal views) is included — which means more savings and a simpler move.
If you\'re relocating with a partner, there may be potential employment options across other areas of the business too.

You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership experience — or be ready to step up from a Sous Chef role
- Clear, calm communication and a willingness to guide and uplift your team
- Understanding of kitchen operations, ordering, rostering, and stock control
- A level head in a fast-moving service environment
What’s on Offer
- Free onsite accommodation with coastal views (1-bedroom flat with kitchenette)
- Real savings through provided accommodation and lower living costs
- Sponsorship available for the right candidate
- Opportunity to live in a close-knit, scenic community on Tasmania’s East Coast

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job — someone who wants stability, purpose, and a great place to live and lead.
