Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
This rewarding role will see you working closely with individuals across the lifespan, providing evidence-based interventions and specialised programs to support communication, speech, language, literacy, mealtime, and social skills needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and provide individualised intervention plans to address a range of communication needs, including speech and language development, fluency and articulation, comprehension and instruction following, literacy skills development, and social communication skills.
* AAC Implementation: Implement high-tech and low-tech Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems to support clients with complex communication needs.
* Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with families, carers, educators, and other professionals to ensure integrated and effective service delivery.
* Training and Capacity Building: Deliver training and capacity-building sessions to parents and stakeholders as required.
* Documentation and Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with organisational and professional standards.
Clinical Development and Support: Receive regular mentoring and access to external training to ensure your practice remains evidence-based and contemporary.
