We’re committed to quality and value for money. About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Plasterer with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing team. This role involves carrying out plastering and plasterboard installation work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring all finishes meet company standards, project requirements and safety regulations. The position will offer a competitive base salary of $75000 - $80,000 plus superannuation. The successful candidates should: Key Responsibilities Apply coats of plaster to internal and external walls, ceilings and partitions to produce smooth, durable, fire-resistant and decorative surfaces. Prepare and mix plaster, cement, and related materials to the required consistency using manual and mechanical mixing equipment. Measure, mark and cut plasterboard sheets, and position and secure panels to walls, ceilings, steel framing and timber battens. Create, fit and secure corner beads, angles and trims to ensure straight edges and accurate finishes. Decide plasterboard layout and install insulation, vapour barriers and soundproofing materials as per building requirements. Cover joints, fixings and imperfections using wet plaster and sealing compounds, and finish surfaces with trowels, wet brushes and sandpaper. Apply and finish acoustic, fireproofing and insulating materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement or similar compounds. Inspect, repair and restore existing plasterwork to maintain structural integrity and surface appearance. Operate and maintain plastering tools, equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with workplace health and safety regulations and site procedures. Coordinate with builders, carpenters and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards.
