Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner
The People, Culture and Wellbeing Service (PCW) provides a holistic approach to the future development of our people and the organisation. This involves ensuring our employees are skilled and supported to deliver a more efficient and effective service to the community.
The Organisational Development (OD) Branch supports us to build capability and enhance organisational effectiveness through strategic and systemic approaches to talent attraction, recruitment, development, and talent management. The OD Branch includes the Talent Acquisition Section, which is responsible for entry level recruitment of cadets, police security officers, community constables and experienced police officers (returning, interstate, and international).
The section oversees this process from application through to commencement of employment with us and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to attract and recruit our future workforce.
* Development and implementation of agency wide recruitment strategies and initiatives.
* Attraction and retention of skilled employees.
* Timely advice to stakeholders on best practice recruitment strategies.
* Work under broad direction in the management and delivery of domestic and international recruitment campaigns and associated projects.

* Must hold a current Australian work eligibility status.
* Subject to a criminal history check.
* May be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
* Participation in SAPOL's i Engage program.
Essential Minimum Requirements:
* High level interviewing experience and an understanding of recruitment best practice.
* Experience in the development and implementation of recruitment and related strategies, policies, procedures and practices.
* Demonstrated knowledge in sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees.
* Experience in providing strategic advice, including through the demonstrated use of high level analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level interpersonal skills, including proven ability to consult, liaise, influence, negotiate and develop a network of strategic alliances.
* High level expertise in written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to a range of people.
Desirable Characteristics:
* Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in human resources, psychology, law or industrial relations.
* Experience in project management and project methodology.
