Workshop Management Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our mechanical business. As a hands-on leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, managing inventory, contracts and clientele. You will possess strong financial and customer relationship management skills, providing strategic leadership and driving a culture of success, profitability and teamwork.
Our business is growing rapidly, with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland and Western Australia. We value our staff and strive for a healthy work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will have management experience, preferably in a trade-related field such as Diesel fitting or mechanics. Strong communication and people management skills are essential, along with a proven track record of leading successful teams. Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to drive business growth are also highly desirable.
As Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Day-to-day running of the mechanical business
* Managing staff performance
* Estimating and quoting
* Quality control and management
* Workshop safety management
