Open to either Full-Time – 5 days a week or Part-Time 4 days a week across Monday to Friday About Us Western Private Hospital (WPH) is a boutique private hospital servicing the West of Melbourne, with the provision of acute services, which has 62 inpatient beds. We are fully equipped for a comprehensive range of surgical procedures including general, bariatric, oral max, colorectal, endoscopy, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, gynaecology, IVF, plastics, vascular and urology, as well as diagnostic and interventional cardiology and high dependency services. WPHs facilities include four Operating Theatres, CSSD, Day Stay Unit, Day Oncology Unit, Overnight Ward for Medical, Surgical, CCU & HDU patients, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Specialist Consulting Suites, PET Centre and are supported by pathology, pharmacy, radiology and radiation therapy services. About the Role We are seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our friendly and busy practice. Looking for a better work/life balance? – this role consists of 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday – no weekends or public holidays – and allowing for a monthly RDO (for full-time). Salary is commensurate with experience. At WPH PET Centre in Footscray, the only PET scanning facility in Western Metropolitan Melbourne, we are focused on providing the highest standard of medical imaging and service excellence. In addition to scanning with 18F-FDG, we also routinely scan with 18F-PSMA and 68Ga-Tate tracers as well as performing diagnostic CT scans within our PET service. We provide a PET scanning service for a number of ongoing trials. About You The successful candidate will be professional, personable and compassionate, with highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel. You will also possess strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to maintain a calm and cheerful disposition in high pressure situations.
