Clinical Nurse Educator - Oncology Specialist
About the Role:
* Develops, delivers, and evaluates in-service educational programs at a ward/unit level to enhance clinical skills.
* Conducts assessment and demonstration of complex clinical procedures.
* Provides mentorship and support to less experienced staff members to foster their professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Creates and implements education and training activities that meet individual learning needs, incorporating adult learning principles and best practices.
Utilizes effective interpersonal and communication skills, advanced computer proficiency, and software expertise to design and deliver education programs.
Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development, maintaining competence, and enhancing skills as a workplace trainer and assessor.
Requirements:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Relevant post-registration clinical or education qualifications, or current certification as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor, or willingness to obtain certification.
* Minimum three years' experience in the relevant clinical field with demonstrated knowledge of competency requirements for staff to achieve quality patient care.
