Job Description

Speech Pathologists work within a multi-tiered system of support framework to build educator capacity for student success.

They perform environmental assessments with students using observation and interviews with parents and teachers to plan interventions for students with speech, language, and communication concerns impacting educational outcomes.

The goal of this role is to maximise student educational outcomes by supporting educators in providing effective assistance.

This involves working collaboratively with educators to identify student needs and develop strategies to address them.

An essential aspect of the job is performing environmental assessments to understand the impact of the learning environment on student progress.

In addition, Speech Pathologists are responsible for planning and implementing interventions that address speech, language, and communication concerns.
