Our in-house blast room has the latest dust extraction units to meet EPA Standards and we are able to go onsite with our mobile equipment for almost any sized project. We also cater for military and mining with our approved Australian standard testing equipment for spec. work.
Our client have an opportunity for an individual that has prior experience and knowledge as a PAINTERS with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
* Understand surface preparation and finishes. Be able to understand and complete works to specifications.
* Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
* Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
* Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
* Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
* Cleaning equipment and work areas. Outstanding communication skills.
* An ability to work as rostered and be on time is ESSENTIAL.
* The capacity to paint successfully to specification with a spray gun (Mainly pump and hand guns).
* An ability to produce a near automotive finish for mobile plant and equipment.
* An ability to produce a quality finish always.
* Work in a professional and safe manner.
* Understanding of WHS requirements compliance, and the correct use of PPE.
* Great problem-solving skills.
* Car license Forklift license preferable.
* The ability to follow instructions and ask questions to clarify.
* Strong consideration will be given to the applicant that can bring more than the above skill set along with strong work ethic and the ability to be responsible and accountable for any duties performed.
