This leadership position is an exceptional chance to work in a 112 place service that embodies the Reggio Emilia philosophy. The role involves working alongside a dedicated team to deliver high-quality education and care, as well as providing exceptional customer service for children, families, and the community.
The Assistant Manager/Lead Educator will have the opportunity to shape this new leadership role, collaborating with the existing leadership triangle consisting of a Service Manager, Curriculum Leader, and Service Administrator. This unique opportunity allows for influence on how the role is developed and provides the chance to work closely with experienced leaders.
About the Service:
* 112 place triple-story service located near the beach.
* Caters for children from six weeks to five years old across six rooms and three outdoor play areas, including a unique atelier.
* Strong management team available for support and guidance throughout your career.
* Utilization of the Story Park platform enhances communication with families about their child's development, promoting active participation.
* Operational hours: 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

About You:
* A Bachelor of Education, Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification, or currently working towards it, is essential.
* Proven experience in leading a team within a childcare service.
* Strong communication and time-management skills.
* A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
* A current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
* Ability to contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and educators.
