We provide comprehensive speech, language and literacy assessments, as well as ongoing therapy services grounded in the latest evidence-based research. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our warm, supportive team in March 2026. This role can be full-time or part-time and is based in our well-resourced Willoughby clinic.

About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist at Speak & Develop, you will work with children aged 0–17 years in a clinic-based setting, with some opportunities for home and school visits due to high local demand.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting comprehensive speech, language, stuttering and literacy assessments
* Analysing and interpreting assessment results to develop functional, client-centred goals
* Delivering evidence-based speech, language and literacy therapy
* Collaborating closely with families and other health professionals, including Paediatricians, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists
* Educating families on strategies to support communication and literacy development at home
* Managing a caseload effectively with strong time-management skills
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including reports, treatment plans and progress notes
* Staying up to date with current research and best practice through ongoing professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech Pathology
* Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Police Check
* Minimum of 12–24 months' experience in a similar role
* Sounds Write training preferred but not essential
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Positive, fun and enthusiastic approach to working with children and families
* Valid Australian work rights
