Overview
Join Hearing Australia as an Audiologist. You will support and empower clients of all backgrounds, working with dedicated teams across Australia to provide hearing health services when and where they are needed.
Responsibilities
* Assess the auditory problems of non-complex adult clients in accordance with established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards
* Provide appropriate rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate
* Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where needed
* Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
* Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health and support agencies and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client
* Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required
* Provide excellent customer service, manage client load and meet revenue targets
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualification in Audiology
* Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
* Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
* Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
* Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
* Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work
* Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies

Additional Requirements
Let's create the gold standard of hearing care. The successful candidate will be required to be willing to have a Police Check conducted (paid), hold a current driver's licence, and have rights to work in Australia.
