About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager / Senior Sales Executive - UTE Accessories to join our growing team in Osborne Park, Perth. This critical role involves driving business growth by assisting with sales activities at our Perth warehouse and developing long-term relationships with car dealerships in the WA area. You will be the face of our brand, helping a diverse range of customers find the perfect UTE and 4x4 accessory solutions for their trade, camping, or off-roading adventures.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in-store, by phone, and via email to understand their needs and recommend suitable UTE products like canopies, trays, and toolboxes, as well as general 4x4 accessories.
- Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to order entry, delivery tracking, and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with car dealerships in the WA area.
- Organise and manage the company’s participation in 4x4 trade shows, open days, and other promotional events, including planning, setup, and customer engagement.
- Utilise the company’s online webstore and order system to issue invoices, process orders, and track shipments.
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing showroom, effectively showcasing our extensive product range.
- Coordinate bookings for accessory fitment and collaborate seamlessly with our workshop team to ensure high-quality and timely job completion.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
- Provide vital administrative support, which may include preparing sales reports and managing customer databases.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build lasting relationships.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
- Experience in organising and participating in trade shows or similar events is highly desirable.
- Sound product knowledge across the off-road spectrum, including Utes, trays, tubs, canopies, and accessories like lift kits, towing, and dual battery systems, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using online order systems and CRM software.
- Solid computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- A genuine passion for 4x4ing, camping, or caravanning and the outdoor lifestyle is highly valued.
- A proactive, team-player attitude with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel within the WA area as needed.
