About the Team
The W.P. Holman Clinic, Launceston, provides comprehensive specialist inpatient and outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology Services to the Northern Tasmanian community, including the state‐wide brachytherapy service. The clinic also plays an active role in cancer education and research and is situated within the Launceston General Hospital complex, providing direct access to a range of medical, surgical, and hospital services. About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) delivers advanced clinical leadership and expert nursing care, working with professional autonomy under the general direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM). The CNC collaborates closely with an inter‐professional team to support complex patient care and care coordination, ensuring high‐quality, patient‐centred outcomes. Responsibilities include leadership in clinical practice, quality improvement, staff development, workplace health and safety, and fostering effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Salary & Work Hours
Permanent, part‐time day worker position, working up to 38 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Superannuation contribution: 12%. Additional allowances: Post Graduate Allowance up to 10% based on qualification type.

Eligibility
Essential Criteria:
* Registered Nurse, licensed with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Desirable Criteria:
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications in cancer nursing.
