About The Role
Mechanical Fitteris afull-timeposition, based atOxley, QLD.
Reporting to theMaintenance Managerat our PGH Bricks manufacturing site, you will work Monday – Friday 6am-2pm shift, assisting with general maintenance and breakdown work.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have a manufacturing or building background,Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificateor similar, good attendance and a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain operational machines at our PGH Bricks manufacturing site.
Complete planned maintenance tasks.
Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs.
Complete repairs or modifications as requested by your supervisor.
Mechanical fitting maintenance activities related to clay extrusion equipment, machining, mixers, crushers, conveyors, gearboxes/drive assemblies, bearings, rollers etc.
Basic weld repairs.
Maintain safe work and operating practices; maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
