Production Planner
Interpod is reshaping modular construction across Australia and scaling quick. To keep production running smoothly, they’re looking for a Production Planner who can take ownership of the schedule, sequence work to capacity, and make sure the right work happens at the right time.
Overview
Reporting to the Head of Production, you’ll lead the master production schedule and coordinate across procurement, warehouse, and production teams to keep things aligned.
Responsibilities
- Publishing and maintaining a rolling master production schedule
- Sequencing work orders to real-world constraints: moulds, labour, materials, and stations
- Releasing work orders only when everything’s ready – BOMs, routings, picklists, machine files
- Driving weekly planning meetings with Procurement and the Warehouse team to secure materials readiness
- Running production readiness meetings to align prototypes, pilot pods, and production plans
Who we’re looking for / Qualifications
You’ve spent around 3 to 5 years in a production planning role, ideally in a manufacturing environment, and you know what it takes to make a plan stick. You’re analytical, detail-focused, and not afraid to hold the line on process when delivery depends on it. MRPs systems are second nature to you. You’re confident coordinating across multiple teams, escalating issues early, and solving problems before they stop the line. A continuous improvement mindset is key as Interpod grows.
About Interpod
Interpod is a national leader in modular manufacturing with a strong pipeline of projects and rapid growth ahead. They’ve scaled production by 40% in just one quarter. The team is practical, values-led, and focused on doing things the right way. You’ll have the chance to influence how production runs and grow your career as the business grows.
