About the Role
This is a part-time opportunity as the OSHC Assistant Director at Richmond Primary School, located in Keswick, SA 5035. In this vital role, you will support the OSHC Director in overseeing the operation of the Outside School Hours Care service, ensuring a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for the children in our care.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assist the OSHC Director in the daily management and supervision of the OSHC service
* Help to plan, implement and evaluate a high-quality program of indoor and outdoor activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children
* Ensure the OSHC service complies with all relevant legislation, regulations and the school's policies and procedures
* Liaise with parents, carers and the school community to build strong relationships and gather feedback
* Assist with the administration and record-keeping responsibilities of the OSHC service

What We're Looking For
* Extensive experience working in an OSHC or similar childcare environment, with demonstrated success in a leadership or supervisory role
* A thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* A current Working with Children Check or a willingness to undergo one before commencement.
