About the role
As a Service Advisor at Trinity Auto Group Pty Ltd in Cairns, QLD, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and customer-focused operation of our automotive service department. This full time position involves managing the flow of vehicle repairs and maintenance, acting as the primary point of contact for our valued clients.
Applicants must have Australian work rights including Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency visa.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle servicing needs
- Scheduling and coordinating service and repair appointments
- Communicating with our skilled technicians to provide customers with accurate estimates and timely updates
- Ensuring all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately
- Handling customer inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Advising clients on relevant products and services to enhance the customer experience
- Maintaining a clean and organised service reception area
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry
- Minimum 1-2 years of Service Advisor experience is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using automotive service management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Training will be provided on automotive service management software systems
- Experience with dealer management systems for effective system management and data handling
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of a fast-paced service environment
- Essential IT and computer literacy with proficiency in industry-specific systems
