A Food and Beverage Server at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood provides exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The role is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can deliver outstanding service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Essential Job Functions:
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any concerns or issues that may arise.
* Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverage services, collaborating with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to meet high standards of quality and timeliness.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and sanitation guidelines and promoting a positive image of the resort.
* Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision and attention to detail.
* Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, providing information to guests and making recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, sharing feedback and suggestions for improving processes and procedures.
Requirements:
* Minimum one year of high-volume food service experience, preferably in a table service restaurant.
* Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
* Presentation of an outgoing personality, enthusiasm, and professionalism, while maintaining a high level of energy and stamina throughout the shift.
Working Environment:
* Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including second-hand smoke and excessive noise.
* Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of restaurant (ordering) systems and expediting systems.
* Familiarity with all menu specifications and abbreviations.
* Ability to resolve conflicts and complaints in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
