Casual / contract role – versatile commitment (approximately 1 week per month initially).

The Shire is seeking a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to support public health and environmental services across our remote communities. This casual or contract role is suited to someone seeking flexible engagement, with initial commitments of one week per month on-site and potential for more or less time depending on operational needs.
Overview
Working closely with the CEO and Shire team, you’ll administer and enforce public health and environmental legislation relevant to the Shire.
We’re looking for an adaptable and self-reliant professional who can work collaboratively in a remote context. Experience working with Aboriginal communities and strong cultural awareness will be highly regarded.
