About the Role:
Join our team at Deakin's Waurn Ponds Campus as a Casual Kitchen Assistant, earning $44.04 per hour plus super. You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with food prep, and support sustainable waste practices.
To be successful, you'll have:
* 1-2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen, full drivers licence, working with children check
Your key responsibilities will be:
* maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen to our sanitation standards
* washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, sweeping, scrubbing and moping the floor
* putting away dishes, pots pans and ensure that all the dishes are sanitized
* removal of hard rubbish and the removal of kitchen food waste into our compost machine
* putting away stock
* assist in food preparation
