Job Description
SRG Global is seeking a Draftsperson/Scaffold Designer to join our high-performing team based in Wangara. In this pivotal role, you'll bring your technical expertise to the design and development of scaffolding solutions across our major maintenance projects. You'll work alongside Contract Managers, Scaffold Superintendents, Supervisors, and Engineers to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant scaffold designs that meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Creating scaffold design/shop drawings and finalising plans to meet project specs.
* Coordinating with external consultants for drafting, design, and certification.
* Ensuring compliance with construction programs, codes, and safety standards.
* Supporting tender processes with proposal designs.
* Proactively engaging with clients on SRG Global projects to ensure all requests are acted upon in a timely fashion and encourage repeat business.
* Conducting site inspections and creating detailed reports.
* Collaborating with project teams to deliver on timelines and scopes.
* Developing scope documents for field teams to build from.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2-5 years' experience in drafting, ideally within construction or industrial services.
* Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
* Understanding of scaffolding systems.
* Attention to detail and a flexible, high-performance mindset.
