Year 1/2 Classroom Teacher – Part‑time (0.4 – 0.6 FTE) – Temporary 22 January 2026 to 11 December 2026. Days are flexible.
Coningsby State School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our vibrant team!

Our well‑rounded education program includes:
- Weekly visits from specialist teachers in Music, HPE, and Japanese (Years 5 & 6)
- Term 4 swimming lessons at Squid Kids Aquatics, a whole‑school initiative
- Learning support, specialist teachers, and a speech pathologist, with follow‑up support from trained teacher aides
- Supportive, caring, fun‑loving and community minded staff
We’re looking for an educator who:
- Has a robust foundation in early childhood education
- Demonstrates patience, is engaging, and an effective communicator
- Brings a positive and proactive approach to classroom learning
Essential qualifications
- Proven experience in early childhood education
- Ability to implement engaging and effective pedagogical practices
Highly regarded
- Experience teaching in multi‑age classrooms
- Skills in leading teaching and learning initiatives
- Experience supporting students with a disability
