In this role, you will share responsibility for the well-being of residents, providing person-centred care and enhancing their quality of life by ensuring they feel welcome and respected at all times.Juniper Hillcrest in Geraldton are seeking permanent part time experienced Multiskilled CarersThe 1st vacancy is for 40 hours per fortnight contracted and must have flexible availability.The 2nd vacancy is for 62 hours a fortnight; the successful candidate MUST be available to do all of the below shifts:Week 1: Thursday 1500-2300, Friday 1500-2300, Saturday 1630-2130Week 2: Wednesday 1500-2300, Thursday 1500-2300, Friday 1500-2300, Saturday 1500-2100, Sunday 1500-2100, Monday 1500-2300Key Responsibilities:Assist residents with personal care needs like bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and other personal careSupport residents in maintaining or restoring their independence by assisting with activities of interest and mobility aids as neededComplete accurate and timely documentation, reporting relevant information to Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as requiredMaintain effective workplace communication, demonstrating respect, openness to change, and kindnessAssist with medication administration in accordance with facility policiesKey Requirements:Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (desirable)Experience working within an aged care setting as a carerAbility to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managersAbility to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goalsStrong communication, organisational, and time management skillsUnderstanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residentsHow to Apply:Don’t miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
