Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence is looking for a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner (Australia & New Zealand) to join our APAC HR team. This exciting opportunity is a 12‑month term contract and is ideal for someone based in Melbourne, Australia.
As the Senior HR Business Partner (Australia & New Zealand), you will serve as a strategic, trusted advisor to senior management and a key driver of people‑focused operational excellence. This role partners closely with business leaders to shape workforce strategy, anticipate organisational needs, and deliver integrated HR solutions across employee relations, talent, compensation, HR operations, and organisational effectiveness.
With accountability for leading the ANZ HR team, the Senior HR Business Partner provides both strategic direction and hands‑on execution. The role proactively identifies risks and opportunities, influences decision‑making, and champions a positive, engaging employee experience that aligns with our business priorities. Serving as the primary point of contact for policy interpretation, coaching, and complex people matters, the Senior HR Business Partner ensures consistency, compliance, and high‑quality support across the full employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
* Strategic HR Partnership: Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and drive change management for ANZ initiatives.
* HR Operations & Facilities: Oversee HR operations, policies, HRIS, payroll, benefits, facilities, and internal events to ensure compliance, efficiency, and engagement.
* People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the ANZ HR team; set priorities, oversee execution, and provide guidance and escalation support.
* Employee Relations: Advise managers, manage complex ER matters, ensure compliance, and serve as primary HR contact.
* Global Mobility: Coordinate assignments, relocations, visas, onboarding/offboarding, and policy guidance.
* Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation, benefits, incentives, and provide salary guidance.
* Talent Management & Acquisition: Support talent reviews, succession, development, mobility, and recruitment strategies.
* Projects: Lead HR projects to improve operational excellence and employee experience.
Education / Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure as an HR Business Partner or a similar role in a global, complex and matrixed organization.
* Expertise: Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices in Australia and New Zealand.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS), with experience in SuccessFactors or a similar platform, is highly regarded.
* Functional Knowledge: Solid background in HR Operations, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to act as a business enabler, driving outcomes through strategic partnership and hands‑on execution.
* Personal Attributes:
