Salary Package
Indicative Base Salary Package Range: Level 2.1 Dentist $127,597 to Level 2.4 Dentist $167,151 (pro rata for part time). Level appointed will be based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

About the Role
Canberra Health Services Dental (CHS Dental) within the Division of Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Services (RACS) provides adult, child and youth general dental, restorative, additional needs, general anaesthetic (GA), relative analgesia (RA), and specialist surgical and orthodontic services to eligible members of the ACT community. The service currently operates from five community health centres and three hospitals across the ACT region, as well as operating within ACT Corrective Services and mobile dental clinics as listed below.

* North Canberra Hospital (GA)
* Calvary John James Hospital (GA)
* Nursing home mobile dental clinic
* School mobile dental clinic
* Targeted Access Program mobile dental clinic
Key Responsibilities
Provide adult & child and youth dental services, including denture services, emergency dental, restorative care, general anaesthetic and relative analgesia, specialist surgical and orthodontic services across the listed facilities. Services are available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Hold Dentist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Meet credentialing requirements and receive an endorsed scope of clinical practice from the Medical Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
* Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
* Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
Part‐time Position
Part‐time positions with a minimum roster of 3 business days per week are available.
