The Marion Hotel is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to oversee the day to day operations of our restaurant and broader food service department. This role is a blend of both restaurant and functions oversight. The position requires a high level of customer service, strong leadership, and the ability to uphold consistently high standards. We are seeking an applicant that is guest-focused with a high level of service standards.
About the Role
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of the restaurant and functions department. You will maintain strong working relationships with the Hotel Manager, Functions Manager and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service across all areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, train and encourage a team of 40+ food service staff
* Maintain high standards of service in the restaurant
* Work with the functions manager to set and execute functions and events
* Work with the kitchen to ensure efficient and smooth service
* Prepare rosters

* Experience in managing a restaurant team and commitment to staff development

About the Marion Hotel
The Marion Hotel is a large, mutli department venue inclusive of restaurant, garden bar, sports bar, four function spaces, accommodation, gaming and drive through bottleshop. The venue was recently awarded SA's Best Casual Dining at the AHA|SA Awards.
