AboutYou

We are looking for apassionate and experienced leader who can:

* Manageand lead the Disease Control Team, ensuring effectiveoperations and compliance with public healthstandards.
* Demonstrate expertise incommunicable disease management and immunisation programs,aligned with State and National health targets.
* Plan,develop, implement, and evaluate disease control and publichealth initiatives based on local, state, and nationalpriorities.
* Collaborate with keystakeholders, including healthcare providers and governmentbodies, to coordinate outbreak management and maintainimmunisation standards.
* Useanalytical and strategic skills to monitor, interpret, andreport on epidemiological and program-specificdata.
* Foster askilled and knowledgeable team through workforce training andprofessional development.
* Act as aconsultant on public health issues, providing expertise tohealth services, external organisations, and communitygroups.

KeyRequirements:

* Eligibility forregistration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing andMidwifery Board of Australia.
* Acurrent Immunisation Certificate.
* Extensive senior-levelexperience in community nursing within clinical and populationhealth programs.
* Comprehensive knowledgeof communicable disease surveillance and controlmethods.
* Advancedskills in program planning, service coordination, andevaluation.
* Highlydeveloped written and verbal communication skills, includingnegotiation, facilitation, and interpersonalabilities.
* Provenexperience in health management systems, including dataanalysis and interpretation.
* Knowledge of legislativeand regulatory requirements in Equal Opportunity, DisabilityServices, and Occupational Safety & Health.
* Acurrent C or C-A class driver’s licence.
* Leadership andmanagement experience in a multidisciplinary team.
* Postgraduatequalifications in health leadership and management or progresstoward these qualifications.
