Position Overview:
We are seeking to employ a Rehabilitation Site Supervisor to be a crucial part of our team and contribute to the success of diverse and exciting projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise daily tasks ensuring health, safety, and quality of the project, client liaison, coordination as well as rostering plant and labour. You will be working on a long-term waste dump rehabilitation project in the heart of the Pilbara which will heavily involve Loading & Hauling along with pushing and re-designing waste dumps with Dozers and Articulated Dump trucks.
The roster will be Full-time, FIFO 8/6 roster flying out of Perth. We seek an experienced individual who is open to learn and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices.
Responsibilities:
* Team Supervision - Manage and supervise on-site construction personnel and subcontractors effectively.
* Safety Enforcement - Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment for all on-site personnel
* Environmental Compliance - Monitor and address any environmental concerns or compliance issues related to construction activities.
* Quality Control - Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure construction work meets project standards and specifications
* Regular Inspections - Conduct regulatory field inspections and audits to promptly identify and address any safety quality issues.
* Stakeholder Communication - Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates
* Relationship Management - Foster positive working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
* Resource Management - Efficiently manage on-site resources, including equipment, materials, and labour.
* Logistics Coordination - Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
* Issue Resolution - Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact work scope progress or quality.
* Collaborative Problem Solving - Work with the project team to develop solutions for unforeseen challenges.
* Meeting Participation - Initiate and run daily prestart and coordination meetings, ensuring a coordinated approach to project delivery

* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor
* S26 Supervisor components completion
* Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and able to generate reports on a PC
* ICAM / 5WHY’s Investigation experience
* Proven ability of supporting the implementation of site Health & Safety Management Systems in mining and or construction
* Experience with implementing risk management protocols
* Hold a Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
* Current Driver Licence
* Able to pass a police clearance (Within 6 months)
* Able to demonstrate a history of safe work practices.
* Experience with TopCon/Trimble highly desirable
* Experience with Rehabilitation Projects highly desirable
* Experience with Dozers highly desirable
