R Marine Jones is a well-established Riviera Motor Yacht dealership based at the Boat works in Coomera, who is looking or a Marine Shipwright/Technician to join their diverse and expanding team. We Sell, service and Support New and Used Riviera Motor Yachts. We focus on customer experience and a healthy team environment.
About the Position:
You will be working on Premium Riviera Motor Yachts based out of waterfront office at the Boat works in Coomera. Day to day tasks may include;
· Timber cabinetry removal, repair, and replacement
· On-site and off-site warranty repairs
· Gel coat touch-ups and repairs
· Light Fibreglass repairs
· Timber Varnish repairs ( Not necessary skill but recognised)
· Sealant and adhesive application with clean, aesthetic finishes
· Custom work and design working with products such as kingboard, acrylic etc onboard new Rivieras.
· Diagnostics and repairs of water leaks internal and external
· Basic plumbing repairs such as showers, deck hoses, whale fittings etc
· Basic 12/24-volt electrical disconnections/reconnections (e.g., bilge pumps, float switches)
· Routine vessel maintenance checks/ understanding of what is required to assist customers in their boating experience.
· Fitting up anodes and good understanding of underwater line components.
· Removal/fitment of skin fittings and other hardware above and below water line.

* Minimum 3-5 years of marine shipwright/technician experience required.
* Availability to travel for warranty repairs with a maximum commitment of 1-2 days monthly.

* MEM30719 Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction (Completed Trade Qualification)
