Exceptional Customer Experience Specialist
At our Royal Australian Navy bases across Australia, we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Exceptional Customer Experience Specialist.

Our non-profit organisation operates Canteens on Royal Australian Navy Bases, aiming to provide a dynamic range of welfare and lifestyle benefits and services to Royal Australian Navy members.
About the Role:
As an Exceptional Customer Experience Specialist, you will contribute to our goal by providing excellent customer service and creating amazing coffee experiences. Your key responsibilities include:
* Consistently creating exceptional customer experiences
* Making great coffee
* Managing the safety and hygiene of your work site and the food you are handling
* Responding to customer queries, requests and concerns
* Ordering stock and supplies
* Opening and closing the outlet
This is a casual position with rosters between 14 and 21 hours per week, worked between 6am and 2.00pm Monday to Friday.
About You:
We are looking for someone who can get in and get the job done, enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and is calm under pressure. To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role (preferably working in a high volume cafe, restaurant or fast food outlet)
* Highly developed face-to-face customer service and communication skills
* Barista and sandwich hand experience
* Excellent working knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards
* Ability to operate POS terminals and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions efficiently and accurately
* Reliability and ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently and remotely
* A high standard of grooming and presentation as these are front of house roles
* Ability to work early mornings
* Ability to be a quick learner and recognise areas of improvement to the benefit of customers and the business
