About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and professional female Support Worker to provide in-home care for an LGBTQ+ client under the NDIS. The client has expressed a preference for Caucasian female support workers, and we are committed to honouring their comfort and cultural needs while maintaining inclusive hiring practices.
This role involves assisting with daily living and community access in a respectful, affirming, and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality personal care and domestic support
* Assist with medication prompts, and meal preparation
* Support social engagement and community participation
* Maintain accurate care notes and communicate with the care team
* Uphold privacy, dignity, and NDIS compliance standards
* Minimum 3-6 months of disability support experience is required
What You'll Need
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport
* Understanding of LGBTQ+ inclusive care principles
* Experience in LGBTQ+ care is preferred but not essential
* Professional, empathetic, and adaptable communication style
