An Assistant Fleet Coordinator at GKR Transport plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth fleet operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating vehicle scheduling, monitoring fuel consumption and maintenance schedules, and communicating effectively with drivers and other departments.
* Coordinate fleet operations, ensuring timely delivery of services;
* Monitor fleet performance, including fuel consumption and maintenance schedules;
* Support the Fleet Controller in managing vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards;
* Communicate effectively with drivers and other departments;
* Maintain accurate records of fleet activity;
* Assist in preparing reports and documentation;
To succeed in this role, candidates should have previous experience in fleet management, logistics or transport. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is also required.
