About the role
Supporting the Club Manager in the day-to-day management of the gym is the responsibility of the Assistant Club Manager. The role plays a crucial part in supporting the Club Manager in boosting sales and profitability while maintaining a high level of member care.
* Assist in completing marketing activities for the club ensuring outreach requirements are being met weekly.
* Contribute to recruiting, training, developing and managing PT contractors to create a high performing team, and in line with Policies & Procedures
* Support the management and drive of sales for the club
* Maintaining gym standards (cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S)
* Administration work including but not limited to reporting, budget planning, contractor invoicing etc.
About you
You are a professional who is motivated, dedicated, and full of energy with a track record of achieving goals. You enjoy building relationships with members and do well in a positive work atmosphere, and you possess the following qualities:
* Be people-focused and highly organised
* Have experience in building/recruiting a personal training team
* Have experience building a club culture to be proud of and gain satisfaction from operating, selling and promoting an exceptional fitness facility!
* Experience in, or understanding of, human resource and work health and safety processes is desirable.
Must have qualifications:
* Minimum Certificate III in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered, you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us.
* Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).
* Must have appropriate police/working with children check.
* Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.

About the gym
Snap Fitness Dromana is a brand new gym due to be operational in July 2026. It will have 1 Club Manager (Simon Bennett – Franchise partner) and will operate with an Assistant Club Manager (You) sub-contracted Personal Trainers (PT’s) and Reformer Pilates instructors.
