About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Officer Trainee to join our team. This is a structured traineeship opportunity where you will work towards a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, well-organised accounts environment.

This is a great opportunity in an office-based role to build practical skills in bookkeeping, administration, and business systems. You will receive full training and ongoing support from our Accounts Manager and learn through both day-to-day work and formal study.

This role suits someone who enjoys routine, is comfortable working on a computer, and is keen to learn how business finance and accounts systems operate in a real workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Data entry with a high level of accuracy
* Assisting with invoices and basic accounts tasks
* Debt collection support
* Updating and maintaining records in our systems (including Xero)
* Following clear instructions and established procedures
* Checking your work to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Communicating with the Accounts Manager and team as required
* Completing structured training and coursework as part of your Cert IV in Bookkeeping traineeship

* Good computer skills and confidence working with systems
