ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organizations operating in remote sites gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Training Support Officer to join the ESS team within our fantastic Academy facility at the Perth head office. You will be part of the team that ensures that our new recruits are trained and ready to be mobilized to site.
You'll deliver and assess training for employees preparing for remote village operations ensuring competency and safety in every task. This role champions Our Safety Culture and compliance with Health Safety and Food Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and maintain training programs across bar, retail, barista, housekeeping and catering
Coach and develop teams on-the-job; facilitate practical sessions and verify competencies
Promote ESS brand standards and ensure smooth training operations
Prepare training reports and maintain compliance with company policies
Support continuous improvement and candidate satisfaction
What You'll Bring
FIFO or remote / offshore experience in hospitality or utilities
Strong on-the-job coaching skills and ability to train mixed cohorts
Knowledge of workplace health & safety and food safety
Current First Aid and RSA (or willingness to obtain)
TAE Cert IV (Trainer / Assessor) or commitment to complete via our supported pathway
Desirable
Experience in an RTO or delivering accredited training
Prior OH&S and Food Hygiene accreditation
